Vacuum moulding of plastics

We perform vacuum moulding of plastics since early 1990s. During last years, this production technology went through solid modernization and development in our company. Today, we perform vacuum moulding of plastics using the KOPLAST branded machines (vacuum machines of our own production certified by ITI TÜV authority), that are designed as semi-automates.

The vacuum moulding of plastics technology allows to process board intermediates in thicknesses from 0.3 mm up to 5 mm. The final moulding wall thickness is smaller compared to original thickness of plastic intermediate. That's why it is always important to attentively select used material in relation with function and required characteristics of the moulding.

Among our products manufactured using the technology of vacuum moulding of plastics, we can mention blister covers, mouldings of various plastic covers, boxes, mouldings for light ads, shades for lights, advertisement moudlings and other mouldings based on customer needs.

To create moudlings using vacuum moulding of plastics, moulds must be created. Compared to moulds designed for plastics injection, construction of moulds for vacuum moulding of plastics is much more simple, and thus much less expensive. Moulds are mostly created from special epoxy resins, rarely from aluminum or MDF boards (depends on complexity of mould, required amount and character of mouldings).

Mould prices depend on mould complexity, size and material used for its production.
