About company
KOPLAST was founded in late 1989 by Mr. Ladislav Kostka and the trade name “KOPLAST - Ladislav Kostka” was registered. From the beginning, KOPLAST has been engaged in production, technologies and selling of plastics, mainly in processing of acrylic glass.
In the early 1990s, the key production program was based on production from acrylic glass, other plastics processing and production of components for illuminating technology.
In 1993, son of the owner, Martin Kostka, started to work for this company. That time, the company had already two manufacturing plants and employed approx. 10 workers.
In 1995 KOPLAST - Ladislav Kostka was transformed into limited partnership and Ladislav Kostka and Martin Kostka became partners and managers. By the time, new phase of this company started.
Because of new processing technologies successfully put into production (machining of plastics, manual shaping of plastics) and expanding technologies (vacuum shaping, processing of acrylic glass) number of employees and capacity of manufacturing plants raised.
In 1996, building of new manufacturing plant and administration building started.
In the late 1990s, production of certified (ITI TÜV) vacuum machines (KOPLAST) started.
Today, the company has 25 permanent employees, continues in expanding of its manufacturing plants and work up new processing technologies related to processing of plastics.
